Students from Manassas Park High School participated in the National Women in Roofing Academy from March 6-10, 2023. NBC 4 featured the students learning hands-on skills through a unique on-site training program at Beacon Building Products in Manassas. The week-long program is an introduction to the roofing and construction industry put on through a partnership between the DC Metro Council of the National Women in Roofing (NWiR) and Manassas Park High School.
